20 Years: Special Edition Pavé Cup Ring
Out 20th anniversary celebration continues as we revisit one of our most beloved designs—the Cup Ring, first introduced in 2012. Our initial approach was to design against the jewelry landscape of the moment-- which was in the first throws of a (now ubiquitous) social media algorithm that we felt promoted a kind of jewelry that wouldn't last. And so an honest, bold, heirloom quality design was born.
This 2025 edition pushes our original concept a bit further. The Pavé Cup Ring features a glowing 7.94-carat natural mint tourmaline in a sculptural, hand-crafted setting of solid 18k rose gold. For the first time, we're adorning the cup with pavé-set natural diamonds. The sparkle is truly like sunlight on the ocean, a compliment to the tourmaline's watery luminosity—each rose gold bead is meticulously pulled by hand and each diamond placed perfectly for an effect that feels both crafted and luxurious. The ring’s round, streamlined shank balances this extra sparkle with a minimal boldness. We share more about our process and inspiration for this design on our journal.
